Opportunities in the Water and Renewable Energy sector (07 – 10 June 2016)
The British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP) and the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) Manila, with the support of the Philippine Trade & Investment Center – London, invite you to an Environment Trade Mission focusing on water and renewable energy on 7-10 June 2016. The Mission is envisaged to benefit UK environment and energy companies/entrepreneurs that are eyeing to expand or boost their business in the Philippine market. Participants will acquire industry knowledge on the water and renewable energy sectors and will meet potential business contacts to help them explore opportunities in the Philippines for large-scale water and energy projects, aid funded business, advisory services and supply chain technology products and services. Highlights of the Mission include Asian Development Bank’s Clean Energy Forum 2016, dialogues with public and private sectors, Networking Reception, and bespoke 1-2-1 meetings aimed at helping the delegates explore business opportunities and meet potential partners/ contacts in the country. The Philippines is one of the fastest growing economies in Asia with an average GDP growth rate of 6.4% and a remarkable positive GDP growth trajectory. With the exponential growth of the economy, there is significant development in the infrastructure sector which includes cleaner sources of technology and energy.
