The major hotels in Makati, the central business district, are all within a short walk of the centre of Makati, the Ayala Avenue and EDSA thoroughfares. They are also very close to the Glorietta and Greenbelt shopping malls.

Taxis are usually the best way to get around Central Manila. Most good hotels in Manila have their own taxi fleets which are slightly more expensive then picking one up on the street, but they are more reliable and will wait for you at your destination for the return journey.
